During 2023 Microsoft introduced AI functionality in many parts of their products and services, copilots. The different categories embedded copilots, copilots as add-ons and build your own were explained in the video Understanding copilots at Microsoft.
Copilot can be seen from a marketing perspective, where there are branded products such as Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Copilot for Sales.
